Data Deletion

Use this page to understand the difference between deleting Facebook/Meta-linked Aisella data and requesting broader deletion of an Aisella account or Store.

Effective September 13, 2026

Facebook / Meta-linked data deletion

If you authorized Aisella through Facebook, you may request deletion of the Meta-linked Aisella data associated with that authorization using Facebook's Business Integrations controls.

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Open Business Integrations.
  3. Find Aisella.
  4. Choose Remove.
  5. If Facebook presents a data-deletion option such as Send Request, use that option to submit the request to Aisella.

When Meta sends Aisella a valid signed deletion request, Aisella processes the associated Meta-linked connection data and returns a confirmation code and status URL to Meta.

What the Meta deletion request removes

A valid Meta User Data Deletion request is designed to remove the Meta-linked authorization and connection records associated with the authorizing Meta user, including applicable Facebook Page connection mappings, stored Page access tokens, Meta onboarding Page candidates, and the authorizing-user linkage used for Meta lifecycle handling.

A short-lived deletion-request record may remain temporarily so Aisella can provide confirmation status and safely handle duplicate requests. That status record is designed to expire rather than become a permanent identity store.

What it does not automatically delete

A Meta-linked deletion request is intentionally narrower than full Aisella account deletion. It does not automatically delete unrelated Aisella data such as the seller's Aisella account, Store, Product Catalog, subscription, business information, product photos, or other records that are not part of the Meta authorization connection.

If you want broader deletion of your Aisella account or Store data, use the request process below.

Request broader Aisella data deletion

Email support@aisella.ckmicroworks.com with the subject Aisella Data Deletion Request.

To help us locate the correct account safely, include the account email address you use with Aisella and, if applicable, the Store name or Facebook Page name. Do not send passwords, access tokens, API keys, or other secrets.

We may request additional information to verify your identity or your authority over the account before deleting data.

Retention that may still apply

Some information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or enforcement purposes. We will not describe data as deleted if the service intentionally retains it for one of those purposes.

Deletion-request status

If Facebook gives you a confirmation code or a View Status link after submitting a Meta deletion request, use that link to view the current Aisella deletion status. Status links are temporary and may expire after the applicable status-retention period.
